THE RICHMOND RAMBLER TOUR

 SATURDAY 18th

AUGUST 2001

The two Stephens enjoy passage in 3702. Where are the paint brushes guys? Better watch them or they might paint it Blue and White..

Parliamentary Secretary Kevin Moss delivers the official side of the celebrations on Richmond Platform 2. The speech lasted about 4 minutes and celebrated the milestones of Richmond's rail history.

The Tourist Railway Association Kurrajong (TRAK)'s trackside BBQ Kitchen did a roaring trade.. however strangely absent from the line were a number of HET Redfern Regulars, who seem to have become accustomed to the much more refined offerings from Norm Thomas's Workday catering..

Part of the very impressive display of photos and memorabilia displayed on the platform.

Part of the impressive display from the State Rail Transport, Signal and Communications Museum. Somebody went to a heck of alot of trouble to do all this.. and it was much appreciated by all present!

The "Station Masters' Desk" looks about asd cluttered and disorganised as do some desks today in State Rail or even HET.. however the items are very different..
