| The ‘X-Class, still under work. The body was more in need of repair that first though, rust was every where. |
| Every part of the X-Class has been checked and in some cases the body sheets have been replace or repaired. |
| The engine has being carefully checked, tested and in the process of being put back together by diesel professionals. |
| |
| Another view of the engine showing just one of the components that has been replaced, the fuel pump, this was missing and a new one was hard to source.
| Inside the cab, here a lot still has to be done, the controls were open to the weather and are being refurbished. |
| The gear drive, yep this is what drive the beast, driven by hydraulics down to the drive line and provides power to the Garret bogies. |
| |
| Another future project , is to restore D 4052, this is a motor-less driver car, that is it has a drivers compartment but no traction motors. |
D 4052 is to be a large project as this has a number of panels that have rust, this was caused by water entering via openings near the windows and sitting behind panels. |
| Here we see some of the more pronounced rusted areas, while this does look bad, it too will be “cut and shut” back to original condition. |

| F1, has just been checked and painted and is still being tweaked, just to make sure nothing is over looked. |
